Last week, I helped judge the statewide vegetable recipe cookoff with Chef Jim Switzenberg of HACC’s culinary program, dietitian Karen Buch from Weis Markets and extension agent Debra Gregory. It was several hours of good eating — winning recipes will be in the paper on Wednesday.
I talked to Chef Jim afterwards about handling fresh veggies.

I forgot to mention something when we talked the other day. My brother and I have a video production business. We’ve taped, edited and produced DVD’s for numerous dance shows, theatre productions, soccer highlights and several weddings. With everything else going on lately, I’ve not been as involved with the projects. Wish there was more time in the day…
