Been trying REALLY hard to find it, but no luck. Just links to a few events early last year. Would like to participate but get the sense that there either is no such group, or that it is a closed group which requires a secret handshake to join. Enlighten me, please :) Or is this just another example of Central PA's inability to band together and join the rest of the world? Why is it so easy to find so many other convivia, each with their own warm, inclusive personalities, welcoming messages, and numerous affordable, well publicized events, which are open to the public as well as the members? If I join Slow Food, does my membership go to HBG automatically, regardless of my wishes? Is that the time I will receive my secret handshake? And find out the group does in fact exist? Is there really a Slow Food Harrisburg?
